Hi all...

First off, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining here...just trying to get clarification. I think the API is great and it's the most open solution that I've found. Really...amazing job with it.

On the Person.getInfo, there are really no sortable fields returned with the filmography (besides the name). I'd like to be able to sort all the movies a person has been involved with by release date descending. The only way I can see to do it is to call movie.getInfo on every result returned in the filmography, add the result to an array, and then sort the array by the date. I was thinking there had to be a better way because for people that have been in 50 or more movies, the time it would take to call the API that many times would timeout my app (let alone be an annoyance to the users).

I also have another similar question in the fact that the filmography of Person.getInfo does not have the url to the movie poster while the cast from movie.getInfo does return a poster url. I'd like to show the person with a list of movies they've been in, and a thumbnail of the movie poster beside each one. However, I can't show the thumbnail without calling the API again for every movie that person has been involved with.

I don't know if I'm just missing something obvious or if there's just not an easy way to do what I'm wanting. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If there are enough people wanting movie info for their prono films then down the line there could be an x-rated movie database site with api access. Someone would just have to be willing to make such a site. There are plenty of places aswell to get high resolution X-rated movie covers and easy enough to make fanart for the films.

Anyway if anyone else comes across some x-rated movies in the database then add them to this topic so we can at least keep track of them untill it we know what to do with them.
